Spring

Summer

Autumn

Temperatures continue to be mild and pleasant until early October in Lemnos, which means that visitors are able to enjoy the same activities as in the summer months – minus the crowds. One can also visit the wetlands of Asprolimni and Hortarolimni and the wetland of Alyki, the biggest natural salt lake in Greece, which host many migratory rare bird species.

Winter

The winter months are Lemnos’ low tourist season so various businesses, hotels and restaurants might be closed during this time of the year. However, if you are a nature lover and you enjoy the peace and quiet, you should definitely visit Lemnos off-season so as to admire its wild natural beauty and enjoy the scenic serenity, while hearing the lapping sea waves.
