One of the most distinctive local traditions is the horse racing that takes place in Kalliopi at the feast of Saint George, on April 23rd, every year. Still, you don’t have to wait until then so as to enjoy a real horseback ride. In Limnos, there is a wonderful farm, called “Hepheastus” (in greek, “Ktima Hefaistos”), offering various horse rid- ing lessons for all ages and levels of rider. Even 4-year- old children can take part in this exciting activity and they will certainly love it! It’s an experience not to be missed!

Our space is also offered for organizing events of your choice. For the sports friends from Playland, there are also no organized nights for broadcasting all matches of Greek and foreign tournaments.
